WOOLD Mallet was made from Australian and imported timber. This hand made joiner mallet is suitable for display or for actual use. The one pictured is made from American Oak and Zebrano with Purple Heart Wedges. We also have American Oak and Tasmanian Oak available (not pictured).
Approximate head size: 154 x 75 x 69 (mm).
Woold Mallet is made with select dense hardwoods that is considered denser on the “Janka hardness test”. However, the wood on the striking face will most likely dent or crack upon frequent use.
We try our best selecting the highest grade timbers for our products. Occasionally these timbers have gum veins or knots in them. These are unique characteristics of natural timbers and they are not a defect.
